We’re pleased to announced our wonderful wordsmith, Rachel Weinhold, will be the main speaker at the next Valley at Work networking event.

Valley at Work is an independent association run by local Rossendale businesses to support the business community, by helping local businesses to help eachother. The association meets on the first Wednesday of each month with the event featuring a main speaker. Having moved from Chorley in West Lancashire, to Rossendale in December 2013, we were invited to introduce GrowTraffic to the local business community of Rossendale, and Rachel jumped at the tremendous opportunity to spread the digital marketing message a little closer to home than we’re generally used to.

The next Valley At Work meeting will take place on the 6th May at the The Raft Foundation. The Raft Foundation which can be found at Suite 35, 3rd Floor, Hardmans Business Centre, New Hall Hey, Rawtenstall, BB4 6HH, is a community group which aims to serve the Rossendale community and which currently provides the largest food bank in the borough.

In addition to Rachel speaking at the event, Wendy Bell of Lancashire County Council, will be talking to us about their Sustainable Travel Grants – a scheme GrowTraffic has been lucky enough to have already benefitted from.

Rachel’s been busy working away on her presentation about online marketing, to give the attendees some background about GrowTraffic, SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Blogging, and she’s determined to include some handy hints and tips that will really be of benefit to the Rossendale businesses in attendance. So if you want some quick take homes from the pros be sure to attend!
