Aside from the eligibility – having an individual account and being at least 18 years old – your account has to meet certain conditions to actually qualify for Meta Verified. Your account must be using your full, real name as well as a profile picture featuring the real you. In order to cross-examine this data, Meta will ask you to provide a form of identification.

Is The Subscription Worth It?
Honestly, there isn’t a yes or no answer to this. It is very dependent upon each person and their reason for choosing to pay for this service. Unfortunately, it’s not yet available for those with business accounts who may benefit most from a service such as this.
