We are very proud to announce that the GrowTraffic team has picked up the prestigious Business of the Year award at the 2018 Rossendale Business Awards.
We were honoured to be able to attend the R Awards as a shortlisted business and it ewas an even greater pleasure – and surprise – to come away as winners. It’s a testament to the commitment and dedication of our hardworking and talented team.
GrowTraffic was shortlisted along with Stanley Jacks Ltd, The Dearden Tearooms, Utility Smart Ltd in the Business of the Year (5-10 employees) category, which was sponsored by accountancy and business advisors, Cassons.
Winning this Business of the Year category comes after a very busy year of growth at GrowTraffic, which has seen the company go through a phase of sustained organic expansion.
Not only does the award recognise the huge achievements made by the team over the last year, but it also stands as a foundation onto which we intend to build more successes, for our the team, our clients, the communities in which we operate and the causes we support.
GrowTraffic’s managing director Rachel Weinhold was also shortlisted in the Enterprising Woman of the Year category. Whilst she didn’t win, being shortlisted alongside such distinguished local businesswomen is a huge honour, and speaks a great deal about the role Rachel has taken in supporting business and women in the community.
The 2018 R Awards was also the third awards in which we sponsored the Creative Business category. We love our role as sponsors of the Creative Business category. We believe creativity is one of the most important aspects of any business and one that all businesses need to embrace in order to grow.
This year saw the largest number of nominations to the Creative Business category, and Arthouse Ltd, Deni-Deni and Pinnacle Stonemasonry Ltd were all shortlisted for the award.
Rachel and Hannah both took to the stage to outline the importance of creativity and call the shortlisted businesses onto the stage. Deni-Deni were announced as the Creative Business of 2018.
Thanks to all the support from our fantastic clients and the amazing business community in Rossendale, many of whom can be credited in facilitating the development and successes that GrowTraffic has enjoyed.
