My Women In Business Group Mentoring Session

By | News, Rossendale, Social Media Marketing, Thoughts | No Comments

Well, I’ve had a rather exciting day today, so I thought I’d pen you a quick blog to tell you all about it. I know, I know; you don’t deserve me.

So, what have I been up to that’s been so important? I got a free lunch for one thing, and very nice it was too. Suitably vegetarian. Besides that – and possibly more importantly – I also got an incredibly useful mentoring session on how to make an impact in business. Plus, I met some lovely people too. What more can you ask for on a Wednesday in mid-March?  Read More

Don't Scrimp On The Content!

OK, so you’ve paid your fancy web designer a small fortune and you’ve got the whizziest website on the World Wide Web, but your sales haven’t increased and your boss thinks you’re crazy for wasting all that money. Don’t panic! There’s one simple thing you can change to instantly improve your snazzy new website; the content.

Whether it’s content or copywriting, it needs to be good and it needs to be plentiful. Yes, a website needs to look good and it always helps to be innovative, but what you say on your website is even more important than how it looks. As the research is now proving, without well written, relevant and regularly updated content your website will fail to climb in the rankings or to produce those all important conversations. Reasons Why Bigging-Up Your Competitors Is A Good Idea

Bigging Up The Competition 1

Yesterday, I read a really interesting blog post on Search Engine Journal by Tom Demers entitled 5 Reasons Why It’s OK To Mention Competitors In Your Content. Funnily enough, this post struck an instant chord with me, as it almost word for word echoed a conversation I had with one of my clients a week or so ago. So, I thought I’d share it with you so that you can see just how right Tom Demers is about this very valid point!

As the title of the blog suggests, Tom’s post listed 5 reasons why writing about your competitors in your content marketing can be a positive thing; I obviously don’t want to go over everything again that Tom wrote, as he made his points very eloquently and you’re perfectly capable of reading it for yourself. Instead, I’ll give you Tom’s reason’s summarised and then relate them to my client and the answers I gave her.  Read More

A couple of months ago, GrowTraffic were doing a little bit of networking at our local Shout! Network Group and we were fortunately enough to hear a talk by Wendy Bell from Lancashire County Council (LCC) about the council’s Sustainable Travel Grants, which had recently become available to businesses in the East Lancashire Area. We thought ‘we could do with a bit of that’, so we applied and – guess what? We were granted a Sustainable Travel Grant! Fantastic.  Read More

I find it crucial to work closely with clients to ensure that the work produced reflects the client’s needs and is a true projection of their business. Why Google Dislikes Blog Networks?

By | Google, Inbound Marketing, Search Engines, SEO, Thoughts | No Comments

This is the next SEO technique that Google appears to be going after (or has gone after big style in the last couple of months). A blog network is a group of blogs – normally bog standard wordpress installs, with basic wordpress templates and lots of content. Generally this content is generated explicitly for the purposes of creating links back to a website. Read More

Freelance SEO Copywriter

By | Content Marketing, Search Engines, SEO

Given all the changes that have been made in search marketing over the years, particularly the algorithm changes implemented by Google, having well written, informed and interesting content on your website is the single most important thing you can do to help your ranking position.

More than that, your content not only needs to be good, but it needs to be plentiful and it needs to be fresh, relevant and updated regularly. The market that your business operates in will determine how often your content needs to be refreshed or added to, but generally speaking, we’re now advising our clients to add new content to their websites at least weekly and more frequently if they can manage it.

This is where freelance SEO copywriters come in. We’re acutely aware that most business owners don’t have the time or the resources to update their content as often as it needs; let’s face it, most employers and their employees are already working at full capacity.

If this sounds familiar, then you need an experienced SEO copywriter who can pen and upload quality content to your website at an affordable rate and on a regular basis.

Freelance SEO Copywriters

Freelance seo copywriterSEO Copywriting is what we at GrowTraffic do and it’s what we love. Between us, we have written an awful lot of content over the years for a range of businesses and we are experts at penning interesting yet tailored copy that will help your website reach new audiences and grow your presence online.

All our copy is carefully crafted to help your website perform to its maximum potential; that means ranking you as highly as possible from the strength of the page copy alone. Ranking your page highly means traffic, which in turn means conversions for your business; in a nutshell, the more people are visiting your site, the more money you are going to make.

Freelance Copywriting Expertise

Our experience as Freelancer SEO Copywriters also means that we have a deep understanding of how great content works; by creating a number of features and benefits within the text, including subtly placed calls to action, we can lead the reader to a certain place or encourage them to undertake a certain action, such as purchasing your product or signing up to your newsletter. By engaging with your customers in this way, we hope to persuade them to interact with your company and your website, thereby growing your customer base and again increasing your sales.

Copywriting Guru!

Rachel is GrowTraffic’s Copywriting Guru and has an unsurpassed ability to pen neatly crafted copy that gets results, guaranteed.

Here, Rachel discusses her role as an SEO Copywriter;

Rachel Weinhold - Freelance SEO Copywriter“Copywriting is something that I have been doing for a long time now and it’s something that I love, but I decided a few years ago that SEO Copywriting is an area that I particularly enjoy and so I decided to specialise in that.

SEO Copywriting is slightly different from normal Copywriting, as it means that I have to craft my text carefully in order to meet a certain outcome i.e. getting the person reading my text to engage with me and go with what I’m asking them to do. That takes a certain level of skill that I like to think I’ve honed over the years.

The role of a Freelance Copywriter doesn’t stop with the copywriting, however; here at GrowTraffic we never just say “here’s your 500 words, see you next time”! Instead, once your copy is live, I will promote it via social media and other channels to ensure that someone is actually reading it and then monitor its performance so that we can improve in the future, should we need to.

Ultimately, our role is to help you grow your business online so, whatever sector you are in, GrowTraffic will always write the best possible seo orientated copy that we can. With your help we’ll become experts in the sector that you operate in, conducting thorough research before starting the copywriting process so that your content is on-message and on-trend.”  Rachel Weinhold

Negotiable Copywriting Fees

We may be able to negotiate on price depending on the amount of copywriting you require and the time-scales of the project, but please bear in mind we’re native English, UK-based freelance SEO copywriters.

Whatever your requirements, please get in touch with us; we are always happy to have a chat with you about your SEO Copywriting needs.

Please get in touch either by phoning Rachel on 07495 181007 or by using the contact form on the website.
