A (Belated) Networking Update

By | Content Marketing, Internet Marketing Recruitment, Social Media Marketing, Thoughts | No Comments

Well I’ve been a very busy little bee over the past couple of weeks, so much so that I haven’t even found time to pen a little GrowTraffic blog post; my clients have had loads but the GT world has been woefully neglected. Fortunately, Simon Dalley’s been stepping in to fill the blogging void, so I think we’ll probably survive, however it’s about time I started to pull my blogging weight so here’s a quick little post to keep you going.  Read More

Why Google Dislikes Blog Networks?

By | Google, Inbound Marketing, Search Engines, SEO, Thoughts | No Comments

This is the next SEO technique that Google appears to be going after (or has gone after big style in the last couple of months). A blog network is a group of blogs – normally bog standard wordpress installs, with basic wordpress templates and lots of content. Generally this content is generated explicitly for the purposes of creating links back to a website. Read More

Does ROI focused internet marketing spoil creativity in marketing?

By | Google, PPC, Search Engines, SEO, Social Media Marketing, Thoughts | No Comments

Whenever I explain to people what I do and my methodology, one of the things I’m at pains to say is that I’m a marketer that focuses on return on investment.

All my career we’ve been talking about tracing how conversions are attained and working out cost per conversions. It’s a standard format however recently I’ve been starting to think about the point of marketing and how it works to change the way the marketed to interact and engage with the brand and how difficult that is in reality to quantify. Grow your business online

Digital Marketing

The advent of the internet heralded a brave new world for businesses and means that many organisations can now reach out to audiences and markets they previously could never have afforded to consider.

Simon started his career in marketing before internet marketing really took hold and has honed his skills in the digital marketing era.

It is now crucial for you to review how your organisation uses the internet to communicate with potential and existing customers, in order to determine how best to utilise this massive resource as a medium for growth.

Ultimately, your goal is to increase your market share and get more visibility in the search engines, although this is often a task easier said than done.

The internet is the fastest evolving social and business tool ever created. As a marketing and sales platform, a communication medium and a social networking framework it is unsurpassed. It is inconceivable that any business will be able to thrive and grow in the future without engaging with the internet in some shape or form.

To confuse matters though, the internet is an ever changing beast that is in a continual state of flux, as any brief look at its relatively short history will tell you. Every update by the giant of search, Google, to its algorithms or arrival on the scene of a new website, such as Facebook, Twitter or Amazon, changes the way we use and interact with the internet and, in turn, each other.

If you plan to use the internet effectively (and, let’s face it, you can’t afford not to) then you must keep abreast of all the latest developments to ensure that your web presence is as effective and efficient as possible. In order to succeed, every business should have an online marketing campaign that encompasses

  • Keyword Research / Keyword Strategy Development
  • Pay-Per-Click Management
  • Email Marketing
  • B2B Outreach
  • Organic Link Building
  • Web Analytics Analysis
  • Content Management / Content Strategy Development

GrowTraffic Monogram

GrowTraffic is a digital marketing consultancy based in Rossendale in the North West. Founded by Marketer and Freelance SEO Consultant Simon Dalley in 2009, GrowTraffic has been steadily growing and improving ever since, whilst quietly helping businesses to get the most out of their online presence. After all, why have a website if no one is looking at it?

In 2013, Freelance Copywriter Rachel Weinhold joined and GrowTraffic’s dream team of digital consultants was born. With Rachel’s skills as a Copywriter, specialising in SEO and Inbound, Social Media, and Simon’s expertise in SEO, Pay Per Click, web analytics and all things marketing, there is no aspect of your digital marketing we can’t tackle.

Although based in Rossendale in East Lancashire, we’ve provided digital consultancy services to clients from all over the UK and even some from further afield. Whilst we are happy to travel to see clients in person, we also make the most of modern technology and regularly hold meetings via Skype, discuss projects over the phone or just conversing through email, if that’s what clients prefer.

As SEO Consultants, we are not confined to office hours and often find ourselves working day and night, so we can be available to work at whatever time suits our clients and can respond to queries at any time of the day (and sometimes night!). We also pride ourselves on our great customer service, aiming to reply to client’s emails or phone calls within the hour, and we always do our utmost to help our clients resolve their online issues.

At GrowTraffic we never engage in any tactics we feel may harm the sites we work on in the future. Whilst we both have many years experience in this field, we still keep abreast of recent developments and always make sure that we build or optimise sites to meet the latest search requirements for today and, as much as possible, for tomorrow too.

Web Design

There are some amazing Web Design Agencies in the UK and it’s fair to say GrowTraffic isn’t one of them! If you’re in need of something more eye catching or original, then we’re sure that one of our associated agencies will be able to design and build something special that suits your needs. GrowTraffic only works with fresh and highly skilled web designers and programmers and we can personally testify to the brilliance of everyone we collaborate with.

Please get in touch if you need any help…

“Rachel and her team provide a fantastic approach to SEO. They are extremely helpful and take the time to explain the technical world of Google etc. as well as offering a plan that fits in with your business requirements and budget. I particularly like their 'hand-holding and teaching' approach rather than just doing it for you or leaving you to it. I cannot recommend Grow Traffic enough!”
